After serving as full time faculty for twenty years at The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC; Dr. Matthew L. Mintz, left academics in July 2017 to start a private Internal Medicine and Primary Care practice in Bethesda, MD. During his tenure at GW, Dr. Mintz directed numerous courses and in the fall of 2013, Dr. Mintz was appointed by the Dean to take charge of GW?s 4-year curricular revision, serving as Assistant Dean for Pre-Clinical Education. Dr. Mintz has won numerous teaching awards and been consistently named one of Washingtonian Magazine?s Top Docs since 2012.
